Harvey Sheldon might be 3000 miles away living in Anaheim Hills,

Roll Music Video Research Library and the Harvey Sheldon Jewish American
Music Video Research Library. Earlier this year launched a web - radio

that would make Harvey, Philly's first TV Teenage Idol for co creating
the Bunny Hop.

Philly talent. I have gathered all of their records and nearly a thousand songs
of their wonderful music which takes on a tuneful trip back in time... back through
almost four decades of original recordings. The Philly talent of their hit records
made history.
The collection from the record library of Harvey Sheldon looks back over the
golden age of popular music, that magical period that embraced the 1930's,1940's
and the 1950's. Harvey Sheldon, was Philly's first TV TEENAGE IDOL, and co created
the BUNNY HOP DANCE on Bob Horn's TV SHOW - BANDSTAND on WFIL TV channel-6 in 1952.
A disc jockey in Philly, big band leader, a dancer on NBC TV with Benny Goodman,
"Swing into Spring" TV shows, throughout the 1950's. Sheldon recalls in retrospect
the hits that touched the hearts of music lovers that Philly were listening to and
formed a sound track of music that now you can hear again - 24 hours a day-7 days
a week-nothing but Philly music on...harveysheldonphillyradio.com ...Forth coming,

Ciro's, Celebrity Room, Peps, The Blue Note, Showboat.Steel Pier, and Sunnybrook
Ballroom, and our prom dances. The coolest spot in Philly was the intersection of
22nd and Walnut street, where you could dance the Mambo and the Cha Cha Cha with
Pancho playing records at WPEN every night and at the Rittenhouse you could listen
to The Harvey Sheldon Jazz All Stars. Sunday's Philly was swinging at the Town Hall
on Broad Street where the Big Swing Band of Harvey Sheldon performed with the biggest
names in Jazz would come from the Big Apple to sit in and play.
